About Us
IITM CDOT SAMGNYA TECHNOLOGIES is a collaborative research and development center under the National Quantum Mission (NQM).
Meet the PIs leading this initiative, bringing expertise in quantum communication, cryptography, and secure networks:
- Dr. Anil Prabhakar (IIT Madras) – Expert in Quantum Communication, Optical Networks, and Photonics. Leads the QuILA technical group on quantum key distribution (QKD), electronic and photonic integrated circuits (EPICs) and QKD network architecture.
- Dr. Deepak Gaur and Dr. Prashant Chugh (C-DOT, New Delhi) – Focus on the development of practical quantum-secure solutions and industry-standard cryptographic frameworks in the technical group PIPETA
- Dr. Bhaskar Kanseri (IIT Delhi) – Specializes in Quantum Optics, Quantum Information Science, and Photonic Quantum Technologies. Leads the technical group TAHQEECAT on quantum networking and entanglement research.
- Dr. Urbasi Sinha (RRI Bengaluru) – Renowned for work in Quantum Technologies, Quantum Computing, and Quantum Cryptography. Drives innovation in quantum security and communication protocols, and leads the technical group QuEPRAN
- Dr. Senthil Kumar M. (SAC Ahmedabad) – Leads research on satellite-based quantum communication and integration of QKD with space technologies.
- Each of the lead principal investigators (LPIs) works in close collaboration with other researchers and industry experts from academia, industry and research laboratories to actively contribute to the mission’s success.
