IITM CDoT Samgnya Technologies Foundation invites sealed offers for the supply of “Server Rack” in accordance with the specifications detailed in the Technical Specification Document.
1. Eligibility
- Participation is restricted to “Class-I Local Suppliers,” “Class-II Local Suppliers” and Non-Local Suppliers as defined under DIPP/MoCI Order No.
The bidder (or any partner) must not have been blacklisted or debarred by any Central or State Government agency in the past three years.
2. Bid System & Validity
Two - part bid: Technical Bid and Financial Bid has to be submited separately.
Quotation validity: Minimum 120 days from the bid due date.
3. Performance Security
The successful bidder is to furnish 5 % of the contract value as Performance Security (DD/FD Receipt/Bank Guarantee) within 14 days of the Purchase Order.
4. Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Dismantling of 1 Master Node and 2 GH 200 GPUs at IIT Madras.
- Repacking and Shipping of the units to IITM Research Park.
Supply of Smart rack solution.
Installation/Commissioning of the Smart rack, Master node + 2nos. GH 200 GPU.

5. Preference Criteria
The bidder should be an authorized vendor of Nvidia, as the scope of work covers both the supply of server racks and the shifting of GH200 GPU nodes (2 Nos) and Master Node (1 No). Following the evaluation of proposals received in response to our Expression of Interest (EoI) for the joint development and implementation of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technologies, we are pleased to announce the shortlisted organisations.

This initiative is part of a strategic roadmap to establish the Metro Area Quantum Access Network (MAQAN) and the subsequent National Backbone. Selected partners will work jointly with Samgnya to translate quantum protocols into field-deployable, interoperable nodes that integrate seamlessly with DARPAN-Q, our indigenous network orchestration layer.
1. Key Highlights:
- Nature of Work: Co-development and supply of QKD nodes; this is not a standard COTS procurement.
- Deployment Phases: Pilot validation followed by Metro deployments in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, and Chennai.
- Technical Focus: Development of hardware compatible with DPS, COW, or TF protocols, adhering to QuILA and ETSI GS QKD standards.
- Eligibility: Open to registered Indian companies (Start-ups, MSMEs, and Large Industry) with trusted domestic supply chains.
