Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the T-Hub's strategic plan for quantum communication research and innovation. Building a robust innovation ecosystem through partnerships with industry, academia, government, and international organisations.
  
• Driving fundraising through government grants, industry sponsorships. Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and compliance.
  
• Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of researchers, administrators, and technical staff.
• Representing the T-Hub nationally and internationally, positioning IITM as a leading centre for quantum communication.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Information Science, or related field.
  
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in technology innovation hubs, research institutions, or high-growth startups, with institution-building experience.
  
• Strong experience managing complex budgets and multi-source funding.
  
• Established networks within the telecom sector are a plus.
  
• Ability to navigate academic, governmental, and private-sector landscapes and understanding of policy.
