As CTO of IITM CDOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation, you will lead the R&D and innovation strategy in quantum communication technologies. You will oversee the development and deployment of secure quantum systems aligned with national mission goals. This role demands visionary technical leadership to translate research into scalable, real-world quantum solutions.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• PhD in Quantum Physics, Quantum Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 12–20 years of experience in quantum R&D, including 5+ years in leadership roles in academia, startups, or industry.

• Proven experience leading government-funded quantum projects (e.g., DST, EU Quantum programs).

• Expertise in quantum hardware (photonics, superconductors) and software (Qiskit, Cirq).

• Strong research credentials with a solid publication record and successful grant acquisition.

• Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and deliver high-impact quantum prototypes.

• Familiarity with India’s quantum ecosystem (NQM, QuEST) and related initiatives.

• Deep technical knowledge in quantum mechanics, cryptography, and networking.
  

• Proficiency in programming tools such as Python (quantum simulations) and MATLAB (modeling).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Innovative, resilient, and committed to responsible quantum development.
  

• Proficient in English and Hindi; Tamil knowledge preferred.
