Fellowship Program in Quantum Technology

Overview

The Quantum Technology Fellowship Program at the IITM CDOT Samgnya Technology Foundation and IITM CQuICC is designed to cultivate the next generation of researchers and professionals in the rapidly evolving field of quantum science and technology. This program offers fellows the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research areas such as quantum computingquantum communicationquantum sensing, and quantum materials. Participants will work alongside leading experts and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, contributing to India's strategic initiatives like the National Quantum Mission.

Program Highlights
  • Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

  • Stipend: Rs 32,000–42,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Photonics, or related fields.
Skills
  • Strong foundation in quantum mechanics and related areas

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB

  • Prior research experience in quantum technologies is advantageous
