Fellowship Program in Quantum Technology
Overview
The Quantum Technology Fellowship and Internship Program, coordinated by the IITM CDOT Samgnya Technology Foundation under the National Quantum Mission (NQM), is designed to build national capacity in quantum science and technology by nurturing the next generation of researchers and professionals. The program supports research fellowships and long-term internships, enabling students and researchers to join and work with T Hub, participating Lead Institutions (LIs) and Member Institutions (MIs) on cutting-edge research in the domain of quantum communication. Research and training activities are carried out at the respective participating institutions, with coordination, oversight, and approval provided through the Sangnya The Qcomm T Hub, in alignment with the objectives of the National Quantum Mission.
Program Highlights
Duration: 6 & 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Fellowship Stipend: Rs 32,000–42,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Internship stipend: will be provided as per program norms.

Academic Qualifications
Skills
Strong foundation in quantum mechanics and related areas
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB
Prior research experience in quantum technologies is advantageous
Age Limit
Applicants should be below 30 years of age at the time of application.
